Synopsis

Two young buttero, Andrea and Lacopo, having grown up together, remain close as ever as friends, brothers and rivals, despite their different backgrounds.
Lacopo is a son of the master of the lands while Andrea is only a cattleman.
Everything changes when Lacopo is informed that he is to marry the older
daughter of Count Giardini.
But fate will have it that the daughters were saved by Andrea while on approach to meet Iacopo, who then falls for the younger daughter of the Count, Elena.
Lacopo, ignorant to his friends affections towards Elena, makes of a choice of the 2 daughters that will see the bonds of their friendship snap..
